to Coach

Ashkan Shokoufi picked up a racket at age 5 and never looked back. By 17, he had earned a spot on Iran's National Tennis Team — the Davis Cup squad — and went on to dominate the national circuit for 14 consecutive years as the country's top-ranked player.

His professional career took him across the globe: from Davis Cup ties in Lebanon, Kazakhstan, Malaysia and the Philippines to ITF Future circuit events in Spain, Tunisia, Turkey, Qatar and India. He competed in the Asian Games, the Islamic Solidarity Games, and reached an ATP singles ranking of 800 and doubles ranking of 700.

Today, Coach Ash brings that same world-class competitive edge to his students at Nellie Gail Ranch Tennis Club in Southern California, offering private lessons and performance group training tailored to all levels — from beginners through aspiring champions.
